Myrtle and her 4 cute and adorable kiddos – MPH Photography – Toronto

Thursday, March 22nd, 2012

I met Myrtle when I was just a teen at the church we were attending back in the day and back then she was the cutest and nicest and sweetest little girl and now she’s still cute and still so nice and sweet and  she has 4 of the cutest and best behaved kids we’ve ever met. I was so excited when she emailed me that she wanted to book a session and I couldn’t say yes quick enough.

We set it up and the only thing that could have been better was the weather, as it was a bit cold and foggy and windy and grey out. Despite the weather, we went ahead and met at a favourite spot of theirs in Pickering and the kids didn’t let the weather faze them at all. They just cared about having fun and going to the beach and checking out the ducks and hopefully getting to ride on the swings for a bit. We did all that and then some and they continued to smile and have a great time during the whole session, even with their little red noses and teary eyes near the end, they still wanted to play some more. I could have taken them all home with me.

You can definitely tell that her kids love her and the bond that they have is strong and so endearing and it was just so much fun to capture them spending time together. I love capturing cherished moments and spontaneous smiles and loving affection between families and I love thinking that these images will be hanging on their walls for years to come, pieces of art that they can enjoy for a lifetime. To think that when they look at these precious images over the years, they will not only smile but remember that day as being special and remembering the feelings they shared and the memories they created as well. To give that to a family is a wonderful feeling and makes me love my job even more.

It was an honour and a pleasure seeing Myrtle again after so many years and photographing her and her kids and I would like to thank them for being so wonderful and cute and sweet and I really hope they all love the sneak peek below.

God bless you and your family Myrtle!!

Shirley’s nieces – MPH Photography – Toronto

Tuesday, November 22nd, 2011

I can’t believe its November already and that Christmas is around the corner, but despite that its still been relatively warm out, not t-shirt weather but no need for hats and mitts just yet, so that’s good. I’ve also been blessed to have all my sessions on days when the weather hasn’t been too cold, and I couldn’t be happier about that.

For example this session with Shirley and her nieces,  it had called for rain but at the last minute they changed the weather report to no rain and warmer than usual weather. We still had to wear coats but we didn’t freeze which was my main concern, especially for the two little girls that this session was essentially for.

Shirley wanted a session with her nieces, and that touches my heart, I think every aunt should do this, and I have 3 nieces myself, and I definitely want to do a session like this with them now as well.

Both girls were so adorably cute and the oldest was a perfect model and you could see that her auntie loves them both. It was such a nice session, and it was lovely meeting them all.

Shirley, I hope you enjoyed yourself with your nieces and I hope you enjoy the sneak peek from our day.

8 days old – Brooklyn – MPH Photography – Toronto

Sunday, October 23rd, 2011

This is my 3rd session with Susan, and although the other ones were fun this one was special since we were taking pictures of their newborn little girl who was all of 8 days old.

As soon as we met baby Brooklyn, we fell in love, she was sooo cute and sweet and adorable and precious and she slept like a little angel. She was a perfect model, slept through most of the session and barely even cried, only once and it was just while mommy changed her diapers. It was a really great session and we even went outdoors since it was such a nice day, it was one of the best newborn sessions we’ve ever done and  I just couldn’t get enough of this sweet lil girl.

I didn’t want to stop photographing her but after 3 hours and tons of shots, it was time to wrap things up and let mom and dad enjoy their little girl.

It was such an honour photographing Brooklyn’s first few days of life, I’m always smitten with the babies I photograph and I feel a special bond with them since I pretty much knew them since the day they were born, lol.

Susan and John, thanks for hiring us to photograph your precious baby girl, and I hope you enjoy the sneak peek.

Logan and Keaton – Brothers – MPH Photography – Toronto

Tuesday, October 11th, 2011

I love these boys as if they were my own, after all I have photographed much if not all of their lives to date and just love that every year in the fall I know that I will be doing a session for these two. Their mother Lori and I met years ago and became fast friends, and since we both have 2 boys, we set up playdates so we could go through the insanity together while drinking a cup of coffee, lol.

Our oldest sons are alot alike and so are our younger ones and its like being with my boys when I’m with them. Lo lo and Ki ki are so affectionate too and I love all the hugs I get from them. They are so cute and loving and sweet, and you just want to pick them up and squeeze them, and I get such a kick out of photographing them every year. I can see the 4 of our boys getting together and going out for a drive when they get older, but for now, we’ll just watch them having fun playing with trucks and dirt and realizing how much our lives are very similar.

Lori has become a great friend over the years and it means the world to me that she keeps coming back every year to get her son’s pics done by me, I’m always touched and honoured.

Every year we go to the same spot, riverdale farm, as the boys love it there and they didn’t sit still much, but we had a fun time chasing them around and trying to make them stop for a shot or two. They are definitely two of the cutest little boys and they never take a bad shot.

Here are just a few from our session, thanks again Lori, love you guys and hope you like your sneak peek.

Lorraine & Carm & Emily & Grace – day at the beach – MPH Photography – Toronto

Wednesday, October 5th, 2011

I’ve know this family for many years now and am so happy that their daughter is in the same grade and same school as our son as their friendship is what brought us together.

Lorraine and Carm, have become really good friends over the years and so this session was special and I wanted to make sure every shot was wonderful, I actually put a bit more pressure on myself than usual as I really wanted to do a great job, I always do.

We tried a couple of times to set a date, but with the weather the way it was, we needed to postpone a couple of times. Finally on this day, it was beautiful, but just a bit windy. I think it turned out to be a really nice day, and the Scatterelli family spend some time at the beach enjoying each other and I was the one fortunate enough to be there to capture their day together. It was alot of fun, and we all had such a nice time, and think we managed to get a few great shots of this precious family.

Lorraine and Carm, I hope you love these, as much as we love you guys. Thanks for being such wonderful friends, and hope you enjoy your sneak peek.
