8 Days old – MPH Photography – Toronto

Saturday, September 3rd, 2011

This has been the busiest week this year, from the moment we got back from our vacation at the cottage, it was go go go. We had 5 sessions this week, and one got posptoned until this coming Monday so I will have alot of sneak peeks coming up. I’m busy processing orders, wrapping prints and editing and trying to get the sneak peeks out as fast I can but with a family wedding and the boys about to start school, its been a bit overwhelming. I will do my best to take care of everyone as quickly as I can, but please be a little patient with me as I’m not finding enough hours in the day lately, lol.

So, we begin with Miles. We came home early from the cottage so that I could fit in little Miles who was 8 days old by the time we got back home and I knew we had to do the session within another day or so, and it definitely proved to be a good decision.

I met this lovely family at their home and although we didn’t get to do any outdoor shots cause it was a bit rainy out, it ended up being a great indoor session and alot of fun as well.

Big sister Maya, was so cute and such a good big sister, you could see that she loved her new little brother Miles. Miles was so sweet and adorable and he stole my heart. It’s always an honour to be asked to photograph a child’s first few days of life, and I treasure these sessions.

Emile and Denise it was a pleasure meeting your lovely family, thanks for allowing me to come into your home, and capture these special moments for you, it was a great session and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

Family session at the beach – MPH Photography – Toronto

Wednesday, July 27th, 2011

The beach has to be the best location for a session, it just has so many things to offer, and its a great place for the kids and for the parents too.

We met up with Lisa and her family on Sunday morning and it was a perfect day, sunny and hot but a bit of a breeze which kept us cool the whole time.

Both of their kiddos, were gosh darn cute and a little shy but by the time we got to the beach to make a few sand castles they warmed up.

It was a fun session and I could do sessions like this forever, I didn’t want to leave and looking forward to my next family session at the beach.

Lisa, thanks for letting me capture your family and I hope you all had fun and hope you enjoy the sneak peek.

6 day old baby A newborn session – MPH Photography – Toronto

Wednesday, July 20th, 2011

Newborn sessions have to be the sweetest sessions, they take alot of work and time but they are always so worth it in the end.

Baby A was 6 days old when I got to photograph her and her big sister is baby A’s 2nd mommy, she loved holding her and touching her and doing whatever she could to help out, she was quite adorable. I can tell that these two sisters are going to be best friends when they both grow up.

Baby A wouldn’t really sleep much for us, she would doze off and then would wake up within minutes so we had fun trying to get her to sleep and keeping her asleep, lol. This family is oh so cute, and so sweet and just lovely to be around, it was a pleasure photographing them.

Laura and Sam, thank you for allowing me to photograph your daughter’s first few days of life, it was an honour and I could have taken both your daughters home with me, not sure how my two boys would feel, but I don’t care, lol.  Enjoy your sneak peek.

Baby Molly – 6 days old – MPH Photography – Toronto

Monday, May 2nd, 2011

I’m honoured every time I’m asked to photograph a newborn, because each and every baby that I have the pleasure of photographing is always a gift, a blessing and a miracle. From those cute little baby toes to that little tiny nose, they are just perfect and amazing and the end result is always that they make me want to have another, lol.

We drove out to Bowmanville on Friday to photograph little Molly who was only 6 days old and she is the sweetest little newborn baby girl. I was particularly excited when I found out that daddy is a firefighter and we could use his hat to put baby in during the session, as this was a first for me. With each shot, I kept falling more in love with this beautiful little girl, and although she didn’t sleep much, we did manage to get a few sleepy images of her.

Thanks for having us come out and capture your daughter’s first few days in this world. It was a pleasure meeting you all as well as big sister Sophie bear, who is a doll too and wish we could have taken a few shots with her, but hopefully next time.

Enjoy your sneak peek.

Jo-Anne’s Family – MPH Photography – Toronto

Tuesday, April 26th, 2011

I have never had to postpone so many sessions before but April 2011 has probably been the worse month for rain in a decade. Fortunately we did manage to find one day that wasn’t too cold or too wet and I finally got to meet this sweet and adorable family last Friday.

We met at high park, and I have to say it was a nice day, sun was out just a bit, it wasn’t as cold and all of a sudden everyone was outside enjoying the weather, including high park. I know high park can get pretty packed, but thankfully there wasn’t too many people there during our session this time.

It’s a huge park with so much to see, from gazebo to ponds to beautiful cherry trees (when they bloom) there’s lots to take in. We really enjoyed our walk around and found so many beautiful spots to take photos of this beautiful family, it definitely was a great day and we really enjoyed ourselves with all of them.

Both kiddos were pleasant and sweet and so cute, and indeed the whole family is very photogenic, as you can see for yourself.

Thanks Jo-Anne, it was finally nice to meet you and your family and I hope you enjoyed your time with us and I also hope you enjoy your sneak peek from our session.
