Beth’s Family – MPH Photography – Toronto

Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010

2nd session I had last weekend was with another wonderful family, they are return clients and last year we went to wards’ island to do the session and it was a bit cold but fortunately it wasn’t as cold this time.

I love Beth and her family, besides being sweet and friendly and funny, I love the outfits she chooses for the girls, and this time I was happy as a kid in a candy store, these two little girls are so adorably cute and full of energy too and although it was hard they managed to keep their outfits pretty clean, lol.

It’s always a pleasure photographing Beth and her family and this time was no exception.  Beth likes to go to places that are unique to Toronto and after a number of emails and suggestions they decided on the guild and I love it there so I was happy. It was there first time there and with all the cool architecture from monuments and buildings that were torn down in the city to the cliff over looking the lake, there was tons to see and great backgrounds for a family shoot.

It was great to see you again Beth and thanks for allowing me to photograph your super cute family again, we had a wonderful time as I knew we would.  Enjoy your sneak peek.

and I had to turn them into angels, cuz that’s what I do,lol.

Lori’s little boys – MPH Photography – Toronto

Tuesday, October 12th, 2010

Every year around this time, a good friend and client calls me to arrange a session in the fall for her and her boys. Sometimes its just the boys and sometimes its the whole family and its always at riverdale farm, one of their favourite spots in T.O. We were blessed with good weather this time, a bit cold but not bad for October in Toronto, and although the boys started off with red little noses, it did warm up after a bit thankfully.

I love these two little boys, and am great friends with their mother and I had so much fun, they were constantly on the go and I couldn’t snap the pictures fast enough, I’m constantly amazed by how much energy two little boys can have, but I shouldn’t be because mine are the exact same way, lol.

These two brothers are so lovable and sweet and I got many hugs and even a kiss or two from them and when Keaton took my hand and wanted to walk with me, my heart melted and I could have taken both those little boys home with me,lol. Logan has been my little model since he was a baby so he knows how to pose for me and Keaton just wants to explore all that surrounds him, and those blue eyes are just amazing to look at.  I could have played and photographed them both all day long.

Lori, your family is adorable, and you know how much I love photographing you all, I had a wonderful time and thanks for all your constant support and friendship throughout the years. Hope you enjoy the sneak peek from our day at the farm.

Catching up

Editing, ordering, packaging and now baking, cleaning up, and getting ready for Christmas which is in a week!!! I can’t believe its only a week away.

So much to say and hopefully I can remember everything, lol. I have the last of a session I did and didn’t get a chance to share more from that shoot, so I will post a few of those. Then, I have a couple of pics of my mini accordians and a few pics of the 40 or so painstaking ornaments WE made, I say we loosely, as George was all for helping me but by the 5th one, he was tired and pretty much left the rest up to me,lol.

Still have some more baking and haven’t even started wrapping, hardly got any Christmas shopping done yet even, but will get to that.

Looking forward to Sunday as we have been invited by our friends and George’s classmate to attend an intimate Christmas party, a few kids, a few adults, a few yummy things to eat, gingerbread, painted faces, tattoo and a special appearance will be made by Jolly ol saint Nick himself. Can’t wait for this party, should be fun.

This session was so much fun and there was so much creativity going on, both are artists and very talented and they both had ideas about poses and artwork that they wanted on top of the pictures. The client himself did the artwork on top of the images and I love what he came up with, the final results are absolutely beautiful. They purchased many of these in large wall print sizes and they are breath taking in person.

More and more of Krystal

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

Lots going on lately, Christmas is around the corner and there is an endless list of things to do,  as I slowly get things done, I wanted to share just a few more of Krystal as I know she’s just waiting for these, I’m half way done editing her session, so you will see more of this girl, I just love the way her pics came out, and I think she loves them too which makes me even more thrilled.
