8 Days old – MPH Photography – Toronto

Saturday, September 3rd, 2011

This has been the busiest week this year, from the moment we got back from our vacation at the cottage, it was go go go. We had 5 sessions this week, and one got posptoned until this coming Monday so I will have alot of sneak peeks coming up. I’m busy processing orders, wrapping prints and editing and trying to get the sneak peeks out as fast I can but with a family wedding and the boys about to start school, its been a bit overwhelming. I will do my best to take care of everyone as quickly as I can, but please be a little patient with me as I’m not finding enough hours in the day lately, lol.

So, we begin with Miles. We came home early from the cottage so that I could fit in little Miles who was 8 days old by the time we got back home and I knew we had to do the session within another day or so, and it definitely proved to be a good decision.

I met this lovely family at their home and although we didn’t get to do any outdoor shots cause it was a bit rainy out, it ended up being a great indoor session and alot of fun as well.

Big sister Maya, was so cute and such a good big sister, you could see that she loved her new little brother Miles. Miles was so sweet and adorable and he stole my heart. It’s always an honour to be asked to photograph a child’s first few days of life, and I treasure these sessions.

Emile and Denise it was a pleasure meeting your lovely family, thanks for allowing me to come into your home, and capture these special moments for you, it was a great session and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

Family session at the beach – MPH Photography – Toronto

Wednesday, July 27th, 2011

The beach has to be the best location for a session, it just has so many things to offer, and its a great place for the kids and for the parents too.

We met up with Lisa and her family on Sunday morning and it was a perfect day, sunny and hot but a bit of a breeze which kept us cool the whole time.

Both of their kiddos, were gosh darn cute and a little shy but by the time we got to the beach to make a few sand castles they warmed up.

It was a fun session and I could do sessions like this forever, I didn’t want to leave and looking forward to my next family session at the beach.

Lisa, thanks for letting me capture your family and I hope you all had fun and hope you enjoy the sneak peek.

Jo-Anne’s Family – MPH Photography – Toronto

Tuesday, April 26th, 2011

I have never had to postpone so many sessions before but April 2011 has probably been the worse month for rain in a decade. Fortunately we did manage to find one day that wasn’t too cold or too wet and I finally got to meet this sweet and adorable family last Friday.

We met at high park, and I have to say it was a nice day, sun was out just a bit, it wasn’t as cold and all of a sudden everyone was outside enjoying the weather, including high park. I know high park can get pretty packed, but thankfully there wasn’t too many people there during our session this time.

It’s a huge park with so much to see, from gazebo to ponds to beautiful cherry trees (when they bloom) there’s lots to take in. We really enjoyed our walk around and found so many beautiful spots to take photos of this beautiful family, it definitely was a great day and we really enjoyed ourselves with all of them.

Both kiddos were pleasant and sweet and so cute, and indeed the whole family is very photogenic, as you can see for yourself.

Thanks Jo-Anne, it was finally nice to meet you and your family and I hope you enjoyed your time with us and I also hope you enjoy your sneak peek from our session.

Shana’s Family – Toronto – MPH Photography

Monday, February 28th, 2011

Just when I thought winter was finally over, we got hit with tons of snow and it almost made me postpone Sunday’s session but thankfully I didn’t as it turned out to be a fun day with an adorable family.

Shana gave me the biggest hug when we first met and I’m such a hugger, and the bigger the hug the better, right then I knew we would have such a fun session and we did. The kids were so sweet and oh so cute and so friendly and right away started laughing for me, the smiles were contagious since Chris and I couldn’t stop smiling during the whole session. Even though there was alot of snow on the ground which prevented us from exploring too much, we still managed to enjoy the winter wonderland and I think this family will remember this time together for years to come.

Thanks so much for hiring me Shana, we really enjoyed ourselves with your family, and hope you had a wonderful time as well. Enjoy your sneak peeks.

Brother & Sister – MPH Photography – Toronto

Friday, December 24th, 2010

This is my 2nd session with Ori, she had a session done last year with her mom http://mphphotography.net/blog/2010/01/ori-sandra/ and this time she wanted to surprise her parents at Christmas with portraits of her and her siblings. Unfortunately her sister couldn’t make it down but I did get to meet her brother Nico and we had such a fun session with these two. Daring and wild, we went places where we shouldn’t have, but it was worth it as the images we got turned out great. Even though it was a bit chilly outside, we managed to keep warm going inside and out of the brickworks and barely even felt the cold at times.

This is definitely a great place for a session, as it offers all kinds of wonderful locations for shots, and its best to go when its not busy though. They even put in a skating rink there now and I can’t wait to go see it.

Ori and Nico were wonderful and between the laughter and the danger, lol, it was a session I won’t soon forget.

Thanks Ori and Nico for allowing me to be part of such a special Christmas present, I hope your family loves the shots as much as I do.
