Logan and Keaton – Brothers – MPH Photography – Toronto

I love these boys as if they were my own, after all I have photographed much if not all of their lives to date and just love that every year in the fall I know that I will be doing a session for these two. Their mother Lori and I met years ago and became fast friends, and since we both have 2 boys, we set up playdates so we could go through the insanity together while drinking a cup of coffee, lol.

Our oldest sons are alot alike and so are our younger ones and its like being with my boys when I’m with them. Lo lo and Ki ki are so affectionate too and I love all the hugs I get from them. They are so cute and loving and sweet, and you just want to pick them up and squeeze them, and I get such a kick out of photographing them every year. I can see the 4 of our boys getting together and going out for a drive when they get older, but for now, we’ll just watch them having fun playing with trucks and dirt and realizing how much our lives are very similar.

Lori has become a great friend over the years and it means the world to me that she keeps coming back every year to get her son’s pics done by me, I’m always touched and honoured.

Every year we go to the same spot, riverdale farm, as the boys love it there and they didn’t sit still much, but we had a fun time chasing them around and trying to make them stop for a shot or two. They are definitely two of the cutest little boys and they never take a bad shot.

Here are just a few from our session, thanks again Lori, love you guys and hope you like your sneak peek.

Rina’s Boys – MPH Photography – Toronto

Monday, June 13th, 2011

I love working with Rina and her boys, this is our 3rd session together and the boys are becoming pros at this. Besides being so cute and adorable and tons of fun, they have the most amazing colour hair, red headed boys and I never stop smiling when I photograph these little guys.

Rina wanted to go to graffiti alley in Toronto and it was a perfect day and I suggested to bring some water guns and she did and they couldn’t wait to play with them. After what must have seemed like forever to them, lol, it was time to play with the water guns and out they came and tons of laughter and screaming ensued.

These 3 boys remind me of our boys,  they love each other and fight with each other and play together just like all brothers do. It was cute to watch them and I’m honoured to have photographed them for the past few years, watching them grow has been a pleasure.

Thanks Rina, its always wonderful to see you and the boys again and I got so many shots that I love and it was hard to choose my faves, so here are more than a few for your sneak peek. ;)

The best thing about winter is…. – MPH Photography – Manuella

Saturday, January 8th, 2011

Summer, lol, ok just kidding, I love my summers but winters can be fun, sometimes, lol.

For kids the best thing I think is tobogganing, going down a hill at warp speed and if your lucky going over a little bump (cuz you’re in trouble if its a big bump) and catching a bit of air. The cold air on your face and knowing there is a cup of hot cocoa waiting for you when you get home.

So today was that day for us, it hasn’t snowed much at all here in Toronto this year and we finally got a bit of the white stuff last night and the boys were jumping out of their skin to put on their snowsuits and play in the fluffy stuff. Even though I wasn’t feeling too well, I knew this would be a great opportunity to take some shots of the boys having fun, otherwise they’ll have nothing to look back on, so on went the two pairs of socks and two pairs of pants and 4 shirts, turtleneck and a sweater and a coat and we were set to go. The boys wore their snow pants and long johns and hats and gloves, and we headed out the door. Little did I know we would be stepping in about 3 feet of snow while getting to our destination, lol.

It was a treck getting there but the glee and the screams and laughter that followed was worth it. Their cheeks got all rosy and their gloves got soaked, even after changing pairs 2-3 times they still wanted to go down more, don’t think they would have ever stopped. I headed back first as I ran out of memory on my card, and I didn’t think I would take more than 300 pics but I did and thought I had brought extra cards, and did not, but as you’ll see below I got many shots as it is. I just wish we did some snow angels or tried to build a snowman or have a snowball fight, but I guess there’s always tomorrow.

Now its time for hot cocoa….. I suggest you get yourself a cup as you view all the pics from today. I put them all into collages for the most part otherwise you’d be scrolling down for a long time, lol.

I want to take a minute and thank everyone, clients, family, friends, everyone who has supported us and believed in us. Without you all, we would not be here and I can’t thank you enough for such an awesome year! Looking back over the 70+ sessions we’ve had in 2010, it gives me such joy and I’m honoured that so many of you have chosen us to photograph you and in essence be a part of your family for the day. I truly have the best job and I love what I do and I love putting smiles on your faces and love capturing those special moments that families share. I feel very blessed and thank God everyday for where I am and what I have and I only pray that He blesses all of you as well during this blessed season and throughout the new year.

To end this year, I’ve decided to do a contest where I have picked 14 of my favourite images from this year’s sessions (which was a very difficult task since there were so many that I liked and tried to pick only 10 but ended up with 14,lol) and then having you vote on which one you like best. The winner will receive a free session with me in 2011! Contest runs until Dec. 31st and the winner will be announced on Jan. 1!!!

Lori’s little boys – MPH Photography – Toronto

Tuesday, October 12th, 2010

Every year around this time, a good friend and client calls me to arrange a session in the fall for her and her boys. Sometimes its just the boys and sometimes its the whole family and its always at riverdale farm, one of their favourite spots in T.O. We were blessed with good weather this time, a bit cold but not bad for October in Toronto, and although the boys started off with red little noses, it did warm up after a bit thankfully.

I love these two little boys, and am great friends with their mother and I had so much fun, they were constantly on the go and I couldn’t snap the pictures fast enough, I’m constantly amazed by how much energy two little boys can have, but I shouldn’t be because mine are the exact same way, lol.

These two brothers are so lovable and sweet and I got many hugs and even a kiss or two from them and when Keaton took my hand and wanted to walk with me, my heart melted and I could have taken both those little boys home with me,lol. Logan has been my little model since he was a baby so he knows how to pose for me and Keaton just wants to explore all that surrounds him, and those blue eyes are just amazing to look at.  I could have played and photographed them both all day long.

Lori, your family is adorable, and you know how much I love photographing you all, I had a wonderful time and thanks for all your constant support and friendship throughout the years. Hope you enjoy the sneak peek from our day at the farm.
