Sonny’s Family session – MPH Photography – Toronto

Monday, August 15th, 2011

I met this lovely family last Friday and we really had a great time during this session. Sonny and Tina have 2 beautiful daughters, Julia and Nikki and they were so cute and adorable and the little one (Nikki) had me laughing the whole time, especially when she put her foot up during the one family shot, I just fell in love with her. Julia was eye candy for my camera, a very pretty girl and I still can’t believe she’s only 13!!!

Beautiful parents and beautiful girls, it was great watching Julia with her little sister and capturing them together, you can see how much they love each other. I am sure they will always be very close and I know they’ll always be each other’s best friend.

Sonny is a kung fu master, and I should have made him show me some moves but we got carried away taking pictures, so perhaps another time. Tina is so sweet pretty and I can see where her girls get their beauty from, lol.

Thanks Sonny and Tina for allowing me to capture your family and spend some time with you all. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

Family session at the beach – MPH Photography – Toronto

Wednesday, July 27th, 2011

The beach has to be the best location for a session, it just has so many things to offer, and its a great place for the kids and for the parents too.

We met up with Lisa and her family on Sunday morning and it was a perfect day, sunny and hot but a bit of a breeze which kept us cool the whole time.

Both of their kiddos, were gosh darn cute and a little shy but by the time we got to the beach to make a few sand castles they warmed up.

It was a fun session and I could do sessions like this forever, I didn’t want to leave and looking forward to my next family session at the beach.

Lisa, thanks for letting me capture your family and I hope you all had fun and hope you enjoy the sneak peek.

Kristina & Mark’s engagement session – MPH Photography – Toronto

Wednesday, July 13th, 2011

Hot, is the only way I can describe this session. Two, young people in love and oh so cute together, it was so lovely to see and capture these two cuties.

Originally we were going to meet at St. Lawrence market but then it was decided to go to Kensington market and I haven’t done a session there yet, so I was totally in and really excited.

We almost melted into the sidewalk due to the heat, but nothing stopped these two from having fun and that’s what its all about. It was great to see the love that these two share. Kristina and Mark were so much fun and Kensington was a perfect location for this session. We had wanted to end it in a little park nearby thinking there was a little wading pool, but unfortunately it was dry when we got there, but that didnt stop them, they got on the see saw and then the swings and weren’t fazed at all, I was disappointed that there was no water, and no cute shots of these two having fun in the kiddie pool, splashing and such but they made up for it by having fun in the park and having me capture it all.

There were so many images that I love, but here are just a few of my faves.

Thanks so much Kristina and Mark, your love touched my heart and I wish you both nothing but the best. Enjoy your sneak peek.

Lily’s Family – MPH Photography – Toronto

Monday, July 11th, 2011

It’s been one of the hottest weekends on record so far and we happened to have had 3 sessions and although the heat and humidity kicked my you know what, it was a great weekend and we had 3 wonderful sessions with terrific clients.

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of meeting Lily’s family, and we met them at a spot that was special to her, it happens to be special to us as well, as we took our wedding pictures there. The statue of the lion at sunnyside park beaches was the location Lily choose and I couldn’t have been any happier.

Their little guy was a bit shy but he was so adorable and I think we got him to warm up to us a bit and got some cute shots of him and of his little baby brother as well.

Sunnyside has everything, the beach, a boardwalk, trees and bushes and a beautiful bridge and weeping willow trees and rocks, its just a great place for a session or just to take a walk.

We had a lovely time with this family and would love to share a few of my favourites from the session. Thanks Lily, it was so nice to meet you and your family, hope you enjoy the sneak peek.

Bridal with Marta – MPH Photography – Toronto

Wednesday, June 22nd, 2011

I met Marta at a fantastic workshop that I went too and we hit it off right away. She was the model at the time for this workshop, but little did I know that she has an interest in photography as well. We started chatting and she reminded me of me when I first started out in photography. Eager and excited and I saw she had a love for photography. Besides being beautiful, she’s a sweetheart and she asked me if we could get together sometime and chat about photography and I was definitely up for that. Then I thought of the phaunt convention, where a bunch of photographer friends of mine got together for a weekend in Toronto in May and I was looking for models for 4 shoots that I was trying to set up for the weekend. I thought Marta would probably like to come and watch us and perhaps model for us as well, and I asked her and she was totally interested and we were both excited.

She showed up bright and early and had hair and makeup done by Surekha artistry and she looked gorgeous, I couldn’t wait to start photographing her. Actually I didn’t wait, while the other models were getting their hair and makeup done, I decided to start photographing Marta since she was ready to go. It was a rainy day, so we didn’t get to go out much, but we found lots of great spots in and around the Delta Chelsea hotel – downtown Toronto and the lighting was awesome and loved all the locations at the hotel and it was just about a perfect day. We had so much fun, and I could have photographed Marta all day long. She wanted to learn a little as well, so after we were all done, she got changed and joined the rest of us with her camera and she fit right in.

We had a wonderful time and I think we became good friends as well, and I look forward to hanging out with Marta again, perhaps will do another session sometime.

For now, here are lots of images I took of Marta (this is why I need to create a post just for her images), and here is the link to the rest of the images I took that weekend http://mphphotography.net/blog/2011/05/pv-2011-toronto-mph-photography/

Thanks Marta for being so wonderful, love ya girl.
