Headshot session – MPH Photography – Toronto

Wednesday, February 8th, 2012

We met the most loveliest woman the other day and she is so full of life and happiness and such a joy to work with. Nancy wanted some new headshots of herself and we set up a session and had a wonderful time.

It was a pretty warm day out and we could have almost done this session outdoors, this year we’ve had a mild winter, and its been so nice. We talked about going outdoors and decided that when Nancy comes back with her daughters to do another session then we’ll plan it for outdoors, as nothing compares to doing a session outdoors with nature as your backdrop.

Indoors or out, she rocked the session and came ready and was a wonderful model for us. We laughed most of the time and before we knew the session was over, time flies when you are having fun.

Thanks for coming by Nancy, hope you had as much fun as we did, you are a sweetheart and it was a pleasure meeting you. Looking forward to doing another session with you and your daughters.

Enjoy the sneak peek.

Newborn session – 9 days old – MPH Photography – Toronto

Monday, April 11th, 2011

I love that newborn smell that baby’s have, its just so sweet and I can’t tell you how much I love being around precious little souls that have just come into this world. I’m so honoured when a family hires me to photograph their little bundle of joy and usually it leaves me wanting another one too, lol.

Baby Raidyn was 9 days old when we did this session and although she didn’t want to sleep in the beginning she eventually gave in and fell into a deep sleep  and let us take tons of cute pics of her. I could have spent all day there and almost did as newborn sessions tend to take 3-4 hrs as there are many breaks for feeding and changing and posing baby. Once Raidyn settled in though, she was the perfect little model and even gave me some sleepy smiles and I almost took her home with me when we were done, lol.

This was a fun session and I always love finding new places to put a newborn, I get all excited when I get to a home and start looking around and find objects and places that I can put baby in, and love how willing my clients are allowing me to put their baby in some of these places but it always makes for the cutest shots.

Tina and Patrick, thank you so much for letting me capture your little one’s first few days of life, it was such a pleasure photographing Raidyn and I hope you enjoy the sneak peeks.

Baby S – MPH Photography – Toronto

Sugar and spice and everything nice, that’s what little girls are made of, and this little beauty is tons of sugar and a touch of spice. She’s so sweet that you just want to eat her up and yet she has this little spark, a touch of spice if you will. I’ve actually known this little angel’s mom since I was a little girl and I remember her being so cute and adorable and she passed that on to her daughter now.  Her father is the pastor of the greek evangelical church in Toronto and he actually married us in 1999 so this session was very special to me.

Even though we didn’t get as many smiles as I wanted to from this little one, I couldn’t take a bad picture of this beauty, with her cute rosy cheeks, and big bright eyes,  even the ones of her not smiling are adorable as can be. Each outfit we put on her was adorably sweet and I couldn’t stop snapping away, she’s definitely a photogenic child.

Thanks for coming by the studio Ruthann, it was such a thrill to photograph your daughter and to capture these moments when she is still so small. I hope you enjoy the sneak peek.

Aileen’s Family – MPH Photography – Toronto

Monday, December 13th, 2010

I have known Aileen since grade school and although we lost touch for a few years, we connected again via facebook and I have since photographed her 3 times, a bridal trash the dress session, a maternity session and a newborn session for her little one and on Saturday was our 4th session with their little girl Sadie who is now 1 year old and totally cute and adorable.

We have not had the nicest weather lately and I’m longing for spring already but there is nothing cuter than a little girl dressing up for Christmas. It actually wasn’t too bad and we even went outdoors and took a few shots as well.

Below are a few of my favourite images from the day, thanks for hiring me again Aileen, its always a pleasure photographing your family and I could just pinch Sadie’s cheeks all day, and I couldn’t get enough of all the little hugs she kept giving me either.

Enjoy your sneak peek hon.
