Princess C – Newborn Photography – MPH Photography

Sunday, December 4th, 2016

I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet couple’s 2nd baby girl the other day, I photographed her big sister a couple of years ago and it was an honour they called me again to photograph their 2nd baby.

Little Miss C was so adorable and so sweet, that newborn smell, those tiny little toes and cute little lips, I almost just wanted to hold her the whole time rather than photograph her. Time goes by so fast, and they are this small just for a little while, so you need to enjoy them at this age, as they will never be that small ever again. Photographing them at this age is the best thing as you will always have images to remember them back when they fit into your arms. She did so well and barely fussed at all and it was actually harder to get her older sister to want to take a picture, as she was into her show on the ipad, and anyone who has had a 2yr old knows how hard it can be to get their attention and make them do what you want to do. As a result, we didn’t get many shots with big sis in them, but we managed to get a few at least.

I can see how daddy is and going to be so protective of his little girls and with all their cute outfits, mommy is going to have fun dressing them up all the time. I’m sure these two little girls will be so loved and so cherished and I can see them growing up to be best friends, in between the usual sibling spats, lol.

I look forward to watching them grow and I hope I get to photograph them again when they are a bit older and documenting their childhood for them as they grow.

Thanks for asking me to photograph your sweet little girls again, it was wonderful seeing you all again and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

Little Miss T – 9 days old – Newborn session – MPH Photography – Toronto

Thursday, September 25th, 2014

I always find it such an honour when I’m hired to photograph a newborn. I am overcome with joy that the parents want me to photograph their most precious thing in the world and this means so much to me.

Stefania and Nick welcomed me into their home and introduced me to their 9 day old little girl and immediately I fell in love. Babies are such miracles, tiny little people, she was perfect in every way and she was just such a joy to work with. She slept for pretty much the whole session and she was a natural and I really think she enjoyed herself ,  we even got a few smiles from her.

Talia’s parents, Nick and Stefania were so sweet and so excited about their newest addition to their family, and I could tell they love their little girl with all their hearts. I think she will be one lucky little girl and will have a life full of love and I also think her daddy is going to protect her and keep her safe and not let any boys go near her, lol.

It was a beautiful warm day and the sun was shining and the house was filled with love and joy and its always a pleasure to work in such an environment. We really enjoyed our time with this lovely family.

Thanks again Stefania and Nick for inviting us into your home and into your lives and choosing us to capture this special time. We look forward to watching Talia grow up and we hope you will call on us again when you need us.

Enjoy your sneak peek.

Baby Ella – Newborn – MPH Photography – Toronto

Thursday, May 8th, 2014

This was a special session and one that the parents and I waited for and had to postpone several times but in the end everything came together and we had a lovely session with baby Ella and her parents Nicola and Dan.

I had photographed Nicola during her pregnancy know how excited her and Dan were as they waited for little Ella’s arrival.

We had planned for a newborn session  but for various reasons the session kept being postponed but eventually we set a date and everything worked out fine.

We had such a fun time with Nicola and Dan and Ella.  I’m a girly girl at heart and I love putting babies in cute tutu’s and hairbands and dressing them up. We even managed to get a couple of sleepy shots too and couldn’t have asked for a cuter or sweeter baby to photograph.

Thanks so much Nicola and Dan, for your patience and your trust, we hope you enjoyed your baby girl’s session with us and we here are just a few shots from our day together. Enjoy your sneak peek.

Little Leo – Newborn session – MPH Photography – Toronto

Wednesday, June 26th, 2013

This was our 3rd session with Samara and her family and every time we do a session, it keeps getting better and better. Didn’t think we could top her maternity, that was a wonderful session but anything could then I think these precious pictures of her beautiful children, Stella and Leo would.

Newborn sessions usually tend to last 3-4 hours, or longer as we often have to wait for baby to fall back asleep and little Leo took a little time but he finally went down and let us take some beautiful shots of him and the whole family.

Big sister Stella was so helpful and such a darling little girl, her and her brother were so sweet, and I can see that Leo loves his big sister already and Stella is crazy about Leo.

We had such a lovely time with Samara and Ari and Stella and little Leo and it was wonderful to do another session with them, plus they booked a  package so we get to photograph them again in the near future, can’t wait to see how these little ones have grown and the relationship they are now just building.

Thanks Samara and Ari for allowing us into your home and for trusting us again this time with your precious little babies, it will be a session we will remember and not only because of the little gift he gave us during the session 😉 but also because you are such a wonderful and loving family and it was a pleasure photographing all of you again. Enjoy your sneak peek.

Baby Mckinley – 7 days old – Newborn session – MPH Photography – Toronto

Friday, June 21st, 2013

A newborn’s smell is so intoxicating, they are fresh, pure and innocent and just beautiful! Tiny little hands and feet and a tiny nose and little lips that you want to kiss all day long, sigh. There is nothing that compares to holding a newborn in your arms, even if they aren’t yours. They are God’s amazing gift, precious little creatures that look to us for everything, and we’ll do anything for them.

This is why I get so excited when a client hires me to capture their precious little newborn, it means alot to us that they trust us with their sweet little hearts. I’m even more thrilled when its a client who I have photographed many times before, including their wedding and maternity and then to photograph their first born, is extremely touching and I knew we’d have a wonderful session.

These sessions take a long time, as we need baby as sleepy as possible and hopefully they stay sleeping during the whole session, but usually at some point or another they tend to wake up and mommy needs to feed them to try to get them back to sleep so that we can position them and have them stay still in those positions while we shoot them and that can only happen while they are sleeping.  This is another reason why we do a session within 9 days of baby being born.

Little sweet Miss Mckinley was only 7 days old when we came to photograph her and she likes company as she wanted to be awake for most of the session to watch us and see all that’s going on in her world, but we definitely didn’t mind waiting for this little angel to fall back asleep and just holding her was enough of a treat, almost didn’t want to photograph her as I just wanted to hold her the whole time, lol. I know I wanted to take her home by the time we were done though, lol.

May this little girl bless your home and bring you lots of love and joy and happiness Danielle and Dave, she’s blessed to have you guys are parents and anyone can see how much you love her already, she’s definitely got daddy wrapped around her little finger and we can’t wait to watch her as she grows and reaches different milestones in her life. I always knew Danielle would be a great mom, as I have seen and photographed her with her niece and now this sweet little girl gets to experience the love of such a wonderful and caring mother, Mckinley is definitely one blessed little child with such great parents and I’m excited to see her grow and learn and love and perhaps become a big sister one day 😉

Danielle and Dave, thanks so much for trusting us with your adorable little baby girl, we hope you enjoyed the day we spent together and that you enjoy these images of your angel for years and years to come.
