It’s been a busy and very hot summer, and this past Saturday was another hot day but I was looking forward to this session. We met up with the very pretty Bree and her adorable lil guy and hubby. I love Bree’s accent as she hails from North Carolina, so it was so cute to listen to her talk. She’s also a big brother fan which means she’s my type of girl,lol.

She’s just getting used to us Canadians, but I think she likes us,lol, we’ll have her converted in no time,lol.

We had a fun time, walking, talking, laughing, shooting, it was all good! Her little guy Lincoln is so cute and he’s the kind of kid that you just want to hug and squeeze all day long,  and his smile made everyone smile and his laugh was even cuter especially when dad threw him over his shoulder, he got those “I can’t control myself laugh” and it was definitely contagious, I almost couldn’t shoot I was laughing too hard. Little kids always bring a joy and a smile to your face, it was definitely fun shooting Lincoln and his good looking parents

I have known Irene for well… almost all my life,  we were both attending a greek gospel church and then my parents started attending another church closer to us so I didn’t see her for many many years. A couple of years back we were both at my dear friend’s wedding Tina and we got reacquainted.

I was happily surprised when Irene told me she wanted to do a photoshot, she had recently lost alot of weight and she wanted to show it off and this was a perfect way to do that.

We had alot of fun, and she’s so sweet, we talked and we laughed alot and had a lovely time.

I noticed her beautiful ring which happens to be from one of my favourite stores http://www.bittersweetonline.com/ and as sweet as she is she took it off and gave it to me. That was a first for me and I was speechless which doesn’t happen often,lol. Irene, that was so sweet of you, thank you honey, I love it and have been wearing it ever since.

I met Natalie last year and this session has pretty much been a year in the making and I couldn’t have been more excited for this session.

Natalie is not only sweet and kind but she’s absolutely beautiful and so are her children. We had a fun time at the beach and I got some cute shots of all of the kiddos despite her little guy running around and not wanting to stand still,lol, it was definitely hard keeping up with him though,lol.

Her girls, are beautiful and poised and I almost couldn’t stop myself from taking too many pics, as they were all such a joy to photograph.

I absolutely love these types of sessions, every summer I look forward to doing sunrise maternity sessions, as they are not only fun to do but the lighting and the location is awesome and then add a beautiful pregnant model and you have the making for a perfect session.

Kanella drove down from Innisfil for this session and I couldn’t have been more excited. Started off a bit cold but it warmed up right away and I must say I love Kanella, she was eager to try anything and do anything, we almost made her climb to the top of the beach house there as there was a spot at the top that would have made for amazing shots. Although she was tempted and we did try to find a way to go safely up, I just couldn’t let her go up there knowing it may not be safe. In the end I think we didn’t miss out anyways as the shots I got anyways are superb, mostly because of the beautiful prego mom and her high stiletto’s which she was rocking very nicely. She was definitely a trooper and was even early to the session which began at just about 6am.

We have  been hit hard by summer, I mean knock you down can’t breath kind of weather. Now I’m not one to complain about hot weather but let me tell you its been HOT!

Now maternity and hot weather don’t usually go well together but regardless of the heat, Amber was such a trooper. Actor by trait so she knew how to ignore the elements and managed to smile and pose so beautifully for me, as the images will attest. I know Amber’s sister through a website that we are both on http://www.naturalmothering.ca/ and Nicole not only purchased a session for her and her family but she surprised her sister and purchased a session for her as well, what a sweet sister and I know Amber was so excited.

I also had the pleasure of meeting their mom Judy, her and Amber are only in town for a short while and it was perfect timing as we just had enough time to do a session while she was here.

4 generations of women, how awesome is that? I love doing sessions like these because family is so important and I feel so honoured when a family contacts me and asks me to photograph them as I know these are images that the whole family will cherish for years to come.

4 beautiful women, well 3 beautiful women and a beautiful little girl and we went to the beach on the most perfect day, who could ask for anything more.

They are from Hungarian heritage and I used to babysit  for a Hungarian family when I was young and often considered them like a 2nd family so it brought back alot of memories.

We had a lovely time and there were lots of smiles and laughter and even Fifi, their little dog enjoyed herself I think.

It was almost a little too hot and I was a bit worried as I knew a 92 yr old grandma plus 2 more grandmas and a grandpa were coming to this session.

As they drove up, I saw 8  lovely people in the cars, and when I was introduced to everyone I was impressed by what a good looking family this was, from grandpa to little baby girl, everyone was looking their best and I knew this was going to be a great session.

It felt as if I knew Sally already, with all our emails and such, she said the same thing when we met, which put a big smile on my face as I agreed with her.

Even though I tried to go a bit quicker this time for the sake of the grandparents and all, it took a while to do a session with 8 people, but we managed to keep it under 2 hrs which was good. Plus, I had fun, and I think everyone was enjoying themselves so time flew by. I could have stayed longer and taken more shots actually, with all the cute shots this family was giving me. I would like to introduce you all to my new personal trainer!!! Alex!

Actually I was just suppose to do a session for Alex, but I was so impressed with her even before we met for the shoot that I asked her to be my personal trainer and she accepted. I can’t tell you how thrilled and excited I am and how ready I am for change, I need to get healthy for my kids and for myself.

But for now, let’s talk about Alex. Not only is she stunning but she’s also very inspirational and I’m in awe of her diligence and all her hard work.  As you can tell from the pics, the girl is ripped and just looking at her made me want to suck in my tummy and start kick boxing things,lol. She’s definitely motivational!

We hit the beach for our session and I was snap happy and couldn’t stop taking pics of this beautiful woman. This is why this is a big sneak peek, so enjoy, there may be another post of Alex later, as I have many more images that I would love to show you.
