Baby Ella – Newborn – MPH Photography – Toronto

Thursday, May 8th, 2014

This was a special session and one that the parents and I waited for and had to postpone several times but in the end everything came together and we had a lovely session with baby Ella and her parents Nicola and Dan.

I had photographed Nicola during her pregnancy  http://mphphotography.net/blog/2014/02/nicolas-winter-maternity-session-mph-photography-toronto/and know how excited her and Dan were as they waited for little Ella’s arrival.

We had planned for a newborn session  but for various reasons the session kept being postponed but eventually we set a date and everything worked out fine.

We had such a fun time with Nicola and Dan and Ella.  I’m a girly girl at heart and I love putting babies in cute tutu’s and hairbands and dressing them up. We even managed to get a couple of sleepy shots too and couldn’t have asked for a cuter or sweeter baby to photograph.

Thanks so much Nicola and Dan, for your patience and your trust, we hope you enjoyed your baby girl’s session with us and we here are just a few shots from our day together. Enjoy your sneak peek.

Lori’s Family session – MPH Photography – Toronto

Wednesday, November 20th, 2013

I would say that Lori is one of my first loyal clients and now a good friend as well. We met years ago and I fell in love with her and her boy Logan from the moment I met them. I was thrilled when she hired me to photograph her and her family and she’s been coming back every year and I have watched their family grow into 4 now and even photographed Keaton when he was just born. Now both Logan and Keaton are growing little boys and it always gives me such joy to photograph them together every year.

We always go to Riverdale park and we let them run around and play and have fun and they are constantly full of energy and checking things out, curious little boys that they are. It’s almost hard getting them to stay still for a second or two to get a good shot, but even with all their running around, somehow they stopped long enough at times for me to capture them in the moment. I love how these shots turned out, it shows how much fun these two brothers can have together. I know they will grow up always being best friends.

Thanks again Lori for hiring me to photograph your boys, I love watching them grow and laughing with them, they make me feel like a kid every time we do a session.

Natalie’s family session – MPH Photography – Toronto

Thursday, October 31st, 2013

Another repeat client and friend. We had the pleasure of meeting Natalie years ago and have kept close contact with her ever since. We also had the pleasure of photographing her several times and look forward to photographing her and her family for years to come. It truly is a blessing when you connect with a client and they understand you and feel you and can see that you love what you do and appreciate it. It’s my job to make my client feel good about themselves, but she always has a way of turning it around and making me feel good, that’s just Natalie. Also loving and caring and thoughtful. She is the kind of woman that if you are having a bad day, you can call her and she would bring back the sunshine and help your spirits rise, she has that gift about her.

Her kids are absolutely adorable and sweet and we finally got to meet Rowan this time and the two of them are so in love and so cute together, it was definitely a fun photo shoot.

There are so many images that I liked and it was hard cutting it down but here are just a few of my fave images from our day together.

Thanks Natalie and Rowan for coming out all that way to do a session with us, it was our pleasure and we look forward to doing it again in the near future.

Aileen’s Family – MPH Photography – Toronto

Tuesday, October 29th, 2013

Love photographing repeat clients and old friends. I have known Aileen since elementary school and its so nice that I now photograph her and her precious family on a regular occasion.

We decided to go to her neck of the wood and picked a beautiful park to do her family session. It was a bit cold and a bit wet but we managed to have a fun time and capture some wonderful moments between all of them.

They have the most adorable little kids and they were such a joy to photograph, and love watching them grow and now that Sadie has a little brother, she’s even sweeter.

Thanks for asking us to photograph you again Aileen, its always a great time.

Mary and Rob’s family

Saturday, September 14th, 2013

I know Mary through my good friend Mona, I photographed the baptism of her cousin and Mona’s brother’s little boy about 6 years ago (here is the link to the baptism http://mphphotography.net/blog/2010/10/adams-baptism-mph-photography-toronto/). So I was really excited when she contacted me and asked to set up a session for her and her beautiful family. The kids were little when I photographed them at the baptism, they were the Godparents and they were so cute and I always told her that I would love to photograph them as a family and I’m so glad she came to me as I knew we were going to have a wonderful time at our session.

This year’s weather hasn’t been so great, but we managed to pick a good day except that they were renovating the parking at the beach that we had intended to go too, it didn’t matter though, we parked farther and all walked and had a nice time chit chatting and catching up since we last saw them a few years back.

The beach was pretty empty too which doesn’t usually happen but because of the renovation, not many were there, so we had the place to ourselves basically.

If the water wasn’t so cold, I would have made them all go into the water for some fun shots, but of course it was freezing and the kids couldn’t take it, they went in for about five mins but that was it, they kicked some water at each other and quickly got out of there as fast as they could, lol,  maybe next year we’ll do a session and finish off with them jumping into their pool.

We had such a great time with this family, it was like hanging out with old friends, and they feel like they are part of our family, not only because Mary is greek but because we got along so well and her kids are so sweet and nice and I want my kids to meet them as I think they would all become friends. Hopefully in the near future we can set up something for all of us to get together and hang out.

Thanks so much Mary and Rob for being super fun and super awesome. We really enjoyed our time with you and we look forward to doing it again one day. Enjoy your sneak peek.
