Our sweet little Elizabeth

Wednesday, January 16th, 2013

I used to be so good at writing posts on my blog, but last year with being pregnant and all, I just didn’t have the time anymore. I promise to start posting more this year though. Now that baby girl is almost 9 months old, and things are finally settling down and we are getting used to be a family of 5, I think I will be able to post more.

It was definitely harder going from 2 to 3, and when we had Nik, things seemed to not change much, but after having Elizabeth, everything changed, lol. Perhaps its because she’s still a baby and needs a lot more attention, but everything from my photography to my housework to spending time with the boys seemed to slow down. This past year, its been all about baby girl. It’s been a lot more work caring for 3 but so rewarding as well. The boys love their little sister, and she loves them and we all just cater to her and try to make her laugh and sometimes we even argue on who is going to hold her next, lol.

I have to say that Elizabeth is the happiest baby ever, she’s always smiling and laughing and hardly ever cries except when she’s really tired, but we have been so blessed with the perfect little girl. I’m so happy to have her two older brothers to protect her and love her and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Our family is now complete.

I almost can’t wait for her to start walking and talking and going out shopping with mommy and watching my old favourite movies on tv like My fair lady or Sound of Music or take her to plays like Les Miserables or Mama Mia, or go out for a nice dinner with her, or do our nails and sit and chat with her, I’ve been in a house full of boys for so long and its so nice to have a little girl now. There is so much I want to show her and talk to her about and introduce her too and my heart is so happy and so full and content and I’m pretty sure I’m the happiest mom in the world right now.

I know I’m biased, but she’s just so beautiful and so sweet that I photograph her often, she’s definitely going to have a lot of pictures of herself to look through when she gets older and I know that number will only increase every year, lol. So let’s get started, I’ve already posted a few images of her in my first post about her here and now I have a few more to add.

As a photographer, I have purchased so many props for clients, and hubby has killed me over the years for all the tutu’s and hairbands and tiara’s and wings and girlie stuff that I have purchased but now I get to use them on our little girl, and I am so excited. I think I will do at least one session a year with her in different tutu’s and outfits that I have, lol. So here is little Miss E in her first professional photo shoot with just a few of my tutu’s and cute girlie outfits.
