Mahtab’s family

Wednesday, October 24th, 2012

We had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful family this past weekend for their session, and it was perfect weather and a great location and we really couldn’t ask for anything more. We tried several times to set up a session for Mahtab and her family but for several reasons we had to keep postponing it. I’m so happy that everything finally came together and we got to meet and photograph this lovely family.

Their little boy reminds me so much of our son Nikolaos, both have their two front teeth missing and both have tons of energy and so friendly and both love to talk, lol. We felt right at home and really enjoyed our time with them.

They chose to go to the guild as it was their first time there and you can never see the whole place in one day, its so huge, and so much to see and I told them to go back and spend the day just walking around, and hope they do, its a great way to spend family time together. We used to go there alot when the boys were  young, next time we have to take the boys and our little girl as well.

During our session, we met the cutest little dog named Lulu, she was so adorable, and I think if and when we get a dog, we’d love one just like this one. We almost took this little Pomeranian home with us, but the owner wouldn’t give her to us,lol but she did let us take a few pics of her and how could I resist, I put Lulu in Ryan’s arms and took the shot, and the two of them look so so cute together.

We are so glad we got to meet you and your family Mahtab, thanks for being so sweet and nice and wonderful to work with. We had a lovely time photographing you all and we hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

Beth’s Family

Thursday, October 11th, 2012

For the last few years,  Beth has been emailing me to let me know that they will be flying in from New Jersey and would like to set up a session, and I couldn’t be more thrilled as I love this family. We always have a great time and we laugh and talk and catch up as we photograph this beautiful family.

I still wish they lived here as I know my boys would get along great with these two sweet girls and although they live far now, I feel like we have become friends and its always such a pleasure to see them every year.

When we discuss where to go for our session, I know that they want something unique, something that shows Toronto, and what a better place to go than Centre Island, from there you can see the city skyline as well as the beautiful landscape that the island has to offer.

It was a beautiful scene, leaves falling, colours of the trees were changing and it was so lovely. It was a bit cold and the clouds moved in very quickly this time but we managed to take some great shots of this family, and I would have stayed there all day long with them if I could have.

I miss them already and can’t thank Beth and her family enough, as its really a pleasure seeing them and photographing them every year, I’m honoured that they keep coming back to us and I can’t wait until we do it again next year.

Enjoy your sneak peek Beth, and just know that I and all of  Toronto misses you, lol.

Lori’s family

Tuesday, October 2nd, 2012

I have known Lori for many years, and she was one of the first families I photographed back in the day. I even did her maternity session and then newborn session when their 2nd son Keaton came along and have been photographing them ever since.

I know it will be an energy packed day when we do our sessions, as those two little boys love to run around and play, just like my 2 boys do as well, so I know what to expect.

Even with all their running around and not wanting to sit still for more than a couple seconds, we managed to get some really cute shots of them and the whole family together. They are the sweetest boys too, they always hug me and Keaton always wants to hold my hand and they both just melt my heart.

We always have fun photographing this family, and those boys keep us smiling and laughing the whole time. I love this family and I look forward to watching the boys grow up through my lens.

Thanks so much Lori, for always trusting me to do your family pictures, and I hope you love these images as much as all the other ones we have taken throughout the years.

Tamara’s family

Monday, October 1st, 2012

I have photographed Tamara and her family many times and each time I know we will have a great session and I look forward to them. Both her children are so well behaved and the camera loves them and they are such wonderful kids.

This time we had planned to do the session at the beach and the first time we met it was on one of the first hot days of the summer and everyone and their dog came out to the beach and there was just no way I could take pictures of them without someone being in the shot behind them. We tried to do the session but really there was no way we could continue so after a few shots we called it a night and rescheduled the rest of their session for another day.

The next time we did the session there were less people there and we had such a nice time and walked around and got some great shots, and I think we were both happy that we postponed it.

I’m thrilled when clients come back to me time and time again as it shows me that they had a great time and love their images and I hope that all my clients cherish their images as well as the time they spent with us.

Thanks Tamara, its always so nice to see you and we had a lovely time with you and your family, can’t wait until we do it again.
