OOrbee and her family – MPH Photography – Toronto

Wednesday, September 29th, 2010

The leaves are starting to change and the weather is getting colder and its time to wear the jackets and get ready as the colder weather comes knocking on our door, never mind all the snow, but this is a perfect time of year for family sessions, and we are booked almost right up to Christmas, so this is definitely a busy time for our studio.

I’ve been a little under the weather, and so have my boys but fortunately I was feeling well enough to go ahead and do the family session that I had set up with Oorbee and her family.

We met at the park and thankfully it wasn’t too cold and although it wasn’t too sunny it was still nice. I met Oorbee and her hubby and then their lil girl, and I fell in love with their sweet lil daughter Avnee, she’s so cute and such a happy baby, daddy could make her smile by doing a funny little dance, at times like this I wish I video taped dad doing his dance for his lil girl, its so adorable.

We all had such a nice time and it was really wonderful meeting this cute family.

Thanks for letting me capture your time together Oorbee,  it was so lovely to meet you and your family and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

Louise’s Family – Toronto – MPH Photography

Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010

Louise has and will always be one of my favourite clients, I did my first sunrise maternity shoot with her a couple of years back and those types of sessions have become one of my very favourites to do. She was perfect for the session and when we finally met at 6am in the morning I was so excited as I knew it was going to be a fantastic shoot and it was. I took some of my favourite images to date from that session and even have a canvas made of the image below and its stunning,  it hangs on my wall so that all can enjoy it.

So when Louise contacted me to do another session, this will be their 3rd, I was excited, her gorgeous self and her 3 beautiful daughters and her cute hubby too, what more could I ask for.  When I first saw her at the session, I didn’t expect it but I’m a sap and my emotions took over and it just brought me back to her first session, one that meant so much to me and I started to cry. I tried to compose myself, it took a few minutes but then we were good to go.

Since they live close to the beach and they like to take walks near there, we decided the beach was a perfect spot for them. It was the same place we did her maternity session as well.

Her girls are growing up so fast, they are such pretty young ladies, and the little one is so absolutely adorably cute that you could just eat her up.  I definitely wanted to pinch those lil cheeks, but I hated it when people would do that to me when I was a child so I refrained, lol. I did pull out the bubble gun which she loved along with the tutu’s and santa hats (which has become a tradition for them). We had a wonderful time and I always enjoy photographing this family, and all I can say is watch out Louise and Anthony, your girls are oh so pretty and I suspect you will have a long line up of guys outside your door in a few years, lol.

Thanks for doing it again with me Louise, love you, and thanks for all your constant support, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Enjoy your sneak peek hon.

This is from our first session together when Louise was pregnant.

The rest are from the session we just did a few days ago.

Thanks again Louise, and thank you to your hubby and your girls too! 🙂

Sarah’s Sunrise Maternity – Toronto – MPH Photography

Tuesday, September 21st, 2010

I think this was my last sunrise maternity session of this year since the weather is getting colder and summer seems to be officially over now. I hate saying goodbye to summer, and wish that winter was only like a week or two long instead of what seems like forever, especially around February when you just can’t wait anymore for those hot and sunny days. We had a great summer though and ending it with Sarah was a perfect way to celebrate.

Getting up early is the only thing I don’t like about doing a sunrise maternity session but the images that we get every time are always beautiful and this was no different.

Sarah has a little belly, so I kept calling her that all day and although she was a bit afraid of getting on the rocks at the beach, she did it and I was so impressed that she would face her fear just for the shot, but I think she’ll be happy she did, I know I am,lol.

Sarah’s hubby and little 2 yr old girl where in the car trying to get a few last moments of rest while I photographed Sarah and when it was time for daddy and baby to come out and join us, little Miss L did not want to have her picture taken. With alot of affectionate playfulness and a lolli she started to warm up but didn’t want to be out of either her daddy’s or mommy’s arms, so we worked with it and below are some images for the day.

Sarah, thanks for being such a beautiful prego momma! It was so lovely to meet you and your family and I had a wonderful time with you, photographing you and trying to get your little one to smile for us,lol. We really enjoyed our time with you and your family and I hope you like the sneak peeks from our day together.

Catherine and her Family – Toronto – MPH Photography

Saturday, September 18th, 2010

When I met Catherine and her hubby Corey, I knew right away that it was going to be a fun shoot, and then I met their lil guy and he stole my heart. Those eyes are mesmerizing and I could have taken pics of this little angel all day.

Usually I recommend doing the session outdoors but since their little guy is only about 4 months old I didn’t want to go outdoors since its starting to get a bit chilly now. So we did the session at their lovely home and it was even nice enough to go outside for a few shots.

We had so much fun with this family and it was such a joy to watch these loving parents play with their beautiful baby boy. You could see the pride in their eyes and the I could feel the joy in their hearts, and they almost made me want to have another one, lol. I was contemplating taking the little guy home with me but I don’t think his parents would like that too much, lol.

I have so many shots that I love so it was hard to narrow these down, so here are a few of my faves.

Thanks for allowing me into your home and into your lives Catherine, it was a pleasure and I hope we get to do it again one day in the near future.

Enjoy your sneak peek.

Georgina Cannon – Toronto – MPH Photography

Thursday, September 16th, 2010

Author, speaker, teacher, are a few words that come to mind when I think of my next client. Her name is Georgina Cannon and I met her at her home where I was greeted by two pretty kitties, Charlie, who is as big as a dog and Fiona, the princess, and a pretty thing too and I think she knows it,lol.

We decided on a few outfits and off we went, once at our destination, our time flew by and I had such a lovely time getting to know Georgina a bit as I photographed her. She’s very sweet and funny too and we really enjoyed our time together.

It was a pleasure meeting you Georgina and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

Charlie

Thanks Georgina, enjoy your sneak peek.
