I had the pleasure of photographing our cake lady and her family today. Claudia makes AWESOME cakes http://www.cakerific.blogspot.com and she made one for our son’s 3rd birthday in a shape of a little einstein rocket ship cake. My son went nuts and I just can’t wait for their birthdays simply to see what masterpiece Claudia will create.

It was now my turn to do something creative for her. So we went out to one of my fave spots to photograph and she had ideas and plans and poses already set up and I followed her lead. We took those shots that she wanted, AND more. They are such a sweet family and it was so much fun photographing them.

I only had one shot up last night, but this morning I’m adding a shot of each of her wonderful children. I must say they were the best behaved kids, listened and did as they were told and were sooo good. They even organized and practice a shot they had been planning on doing and they went right to their spots and pretty much posed perfectly, i was sooo impressed, bravo! You all are the reason I love what I do, so thank you.

Thanks again Claudia, I had a blast and you have 3 cute kiddos and you and your hubby are the cutest couple, it was a real pleasure hon. We’ll talk soon about the next cake,lol.

I also had the pleasure of shooting Helen and her hubby back in the winter, and boy did we have a blast downtown, it was really a great session, one I will always remember and it definitely made me want to do more couple shoots. On Saturday I had the joy of photographing their sons, and although they gave me a run for my money, we got them to sit and smile at the same time, which was quite an adventure in getting there. I still think they are cute as can be and much like my boys, and it was fun spending time with them again. Here are just a few from the shoot.

This is one of my most favourite families and its happily the 3rd session I’ve had with them to date. I can never take a bad pic of any of them, but as you’ll see the lil girl is just a doll.

When I first saw Krista and her lil gorgeous girl B, I was in heaven and couldn’t wait to start shooting. B was a real poser too and she listened well. Just have a look at how gorgeous she is…..

I had the pleasure of meeting Rebecca during the summer and although I didn’t get to photograph her then, I was happy when she contacted me for a spot for the Thanksgiving special.

She’s a lovely gal and we had a great time and she’s a genuine sweetheart.

This was my first time meeting Gary and his lil pumpkin,lol, little K, and she is one adorable lil girl. We had a fun time, lots of laughing and lots of cute pics of Gary and his lil girl.

Gary was referred to me by Rebecca, who  you will see in the above post, we took a few shots of everyone as well, which I’ll post in the post I make for Rebecca.

Gina and I have become good friends, after all I photograph her daughter at least twice a year now, and its always such a delight, as this lil girl is so adorable, and I always get excited when they call me to do schedule another shoot.

Tamara has a beautiful daughter and the cutest lil boy, who was not the happiest of campers the day of the shoot, but by the end, he gave us a couple of smiles,lol.

I’m so excited to announce that our first annual thanksgiving day special was a great success. I was a bit fearful that it was going to be cold, but it turned out to be a nice day and no one got frost bite,lol. We collected bags of food and couldn’t be more thrilled with the way things turned out, thanks to everyone for making this a wonderful event.

I was going to try to edit a bunch from everyone’s mini session first and post but it looks like it may take me a while so I thought, I would post as I go. So here is the first family that came out on Saturday. Catherine and her hubby and their oh so cute and cuddly lil boy C, I could have pinched those cheeks all day long. Hope to get a few sneak peeks out today, so keep an eye out for more posts.

The 2nd family I did that day was a cute little family I had done before. I love repeat clients, and this time they had not one but two little boys, and I couldn’t wait to photograph them again.

We choose a nice park and had a lovely time and it was a hoot chasing N around, but he did stop enough for me to get a few cute shots of him.
