The one thing you have to know about Charlene is that she is not only talented and sweet and kind and generous and absolutely beautiful, but she’s also one of my very best friends and we’ve known each other since grade 3, a fact I treasure. It’s nice to have someone that knows you for that long, they love you for who you are, quirks and all, and I can honestly say that Charlene and I love each other. We share this love with another best friend of ours that we’ve also known since grade 3 Karina, but she’s not in this session so I’ll talk about her another time.

No, last night was about the Cordoba family, the 4 beautiful sisters coming together to celebrate their mom’s birthday with a photo shoot. We had to postpone it from the day before as Toronto’s weather really sucks lately, we haven’t even officially started summer as it just hasn’t been hot enough. I won’t gripe about that now, although I want too, but it was pretty nice out last night, well except for the freak rainstorm that happened right before we started. Fortunately we were covered and it only lasted for a few minutes then the sun came back out and it turned out to be a really nice night.

As you can evidently see, this family is gorgeous, they get it from their beautiful mom, and I was in camera heaven,lol. We didn’t have much time but we had fun, and a great time was had by all.

Here’s a few for now, I’m looking forward to editing more, there were 8 people in total, along with the kids, we were missing 2 people, but hopefully we can do another shoot one day soon with everyone. Thank you ladies, you all rocked this session.

I couldn’t help but edited a few more and can’t wait til I edit more but I have a couple of other sessions that need to be edited so the rest will have to wait for a few days at least.

This baby belongs in a baby magazine, she’s just the cutest lil angel, don’t you think?

I’m so excited that I got to meet this lil one yesterday. I had a session with her mom when she was in her belly and now on her first birthday I was honoured to photograph them as a family.

She has the cutest cheeks and the most beautiful eyes, and I didn’t want to stop taking pics of her. They are a darling family and it was such a wonderful day, great weather and a great park, I was one happy photog. Plus, my hubby came and assisted, I always love when he comes and helps me out, I couldn’t have done it without him yesterday and I look forward to doing more sessions with him by my side.

is what my little monkey said as I turned to see the horror that was on his face. I winced and must have contorted my face several different ways as I looked on my son and hoped that wasn’t what I thought it was on his face. After a minute or so, I finally got the courage to move in for a closer look and slowly realized that it was just chocolate, thank goodness. Much later, I found the 2 round circle pretzels that had hardly any chocolate on them and then put two and two together and knew that this was the reason for the chocolate eyes,lol. I ran for the camera of course, as i chuckled and my oldest was on the floor laughing his butt off, and below is the result of chocolate covered pretzels in shapes of O’s,lol.

of course I have to add a couple of pics of my oldest, one with crazy hair and one of him as a crazy animal, both were themes for the day at vacation bible school, which he absolutely loved and I am so glad, as I remember as a child I took love VBS and it was so sweet to see him enjoy it so.

It was absolutely perfect out, not too cold, not too hot and we picked a nice little park to meet up at, and as I stood there waiting for them I remembered back less than a year ago when I first met Rina and her gorgeous red headed boys. We had alot of fun then, and I knew we’d have alot of fun this time as well. I wasn’t wrong.

This year, Rina had me do a session with her whole family, including mom and dad and sister as well as her and hubby and the kids and let’s not forget Rudy, the dog.

I love those 3 little boys, always on the go, and so much fun, cute as can be and I could have sat there and played with them all day. Besides having fun, we captured some funny and cute moments and relived Rina and her hubby’s wedding day as this was the park they had their pictures done, and they too are celebrating their 10th anniversary as my hubby and I are in September. We were also celebrating grandma’s birthday and this was the actual reason for the shoot.

It was such a pleasure and I always enjoy seeing Rina and her boys again, and it was a delight to meet the rest of the family this time as well. I was completely touched when grandad said that I was now part of the family, I am honoured to be part of such a great family.

After much rescheduling due to many factors, I finally got to meet Miss Laura. I have been anticipating this session for a while and she was the cutest lil thing. It was so nice seeing Tina again and meeting her hubby and we had such a lovely time with Miss Laura. I was smitten with the little sweetheart, she was so adorable and it was such a pleasure doing a shoot with her and her parents.

A few more of George and his lil sis. A collage first  of them hugging a tree and being all cute,lol, and then how could i not turn this sweet lil girl into an angel? I love my angels and the image I choose was screaming to me to turn it into an angelic creation, so of course, I obliged,lol.

Our boys love to go out to the woods for a walk, so we try to find new spots to take them, or old ones that we haven’t been to in a while,lol. Here’s a couple of images from our favourite spot in Toronto and the one of George, our oldest is a personal fave of mine as its the same place and almost the same pose as the shot I took of him years ago when i first started thinking about doing this for a living. It seems like a lifetime ago. I’m so blessed to have such awesome boys and a wonderful hubby and a job I’m crazy about. Onto the pics…..
