I love to cook, and I bet I’ve said that before on here, but its my blog and I’ll say again and again I’m sure,lol. So here are a few treats I’ve cooked lately. Rice pudding,  french toast, and oooo so yummy funnel cake!

What a week, the germs have hit our house with a vengenance, its been crazy. First hubby had it and then our oldest got it and then our youngest and then me. It was really horrible and the house suffered too as I got nothing done with everyone being so sick. We are all finally better, I just have a nagging cough still, I hate coughing.

I even had to reschedule 2 shoots this past week, and I’m itching to get out there and shoot again as I’m bursting with ideas and feel like I’ve been held back with this nasty bug in our house.

I’ll make up for it in the coming weeks, there is so much going on and I know as the summer gets closer, it will get crazier and crazier but I’m looking forward to it, as I think it will be a fun, crazy, but definitely a fun summer.

Leaving you with just one image today, as I go back and start editing the images from the wedding I shot. The happy couple are now living in Africa and we had such a nice chat while going over their order the other day. It was my first time using skype and I even got to see her for a bit on screen, I must say I love skype,  it was so wild and very cool to talk to someone so far away. They get to jump in there pool daily and we are still freezing over here, I need to go visit them for a vacation,lol. This is one of the bride’s fave shots and I’ve been playing around making new logos, let me know what you think of this one, and I used colour cuz I wanted too, not that it goes with my branding but because it looked purty,lol.

This is the last of Lily and Anita’s precious lil family. I’m already anxious for the next one, even though it may be a little while as they live in Ottawa,lol. Until the next time Anita, thanks for letting me take pics of your cute and smooshy family,lol. Will be sending out the images soon.

What a fun filled day. Our lil boy turned 3 and we had a nice little party for him with some friends, food, and just the most awesome looking little einstein rocket cake (made by Claudia from Cakerific http://www.cakerific.blogspot.com/).

My husband freaked out when he saw the cake and I even took some pics of his reaction, it seriously was awesome, the detail she put into it was beyond amazing, but of course Nik kept grabbing towards the cake and eventually he got Anni’s arm and her pigtail too,lol.
