Pouring rain, winds that would knock over a house, getting lost and a headache all day long, but still I had the best time and it was a wonderful wedding, full of love and joy for the bride and groom.
We drove to Niagara falls from Toronto, made a stop in Hamilton to see good ol friends and did a family shoot there, shot Anita and her crew and my lil muse Lily who is on most of my advertisements, and even on my car magnet. Despite the rain we had a nice time and got some nice shots in the atrium and then we headed off to get to the hotel for the wedding.
The hotel had a kids waterpark in it and we were so tempted to stay the night just so we can go and play but we decided that we would make a trip with the kids, since they would enjoy it even more, in the near future.
Still raining, got to the bride’s room, where things were hectic but fun and invigorating. After getting ready and heading off to the church, slightly late, lol, they had a nice ceremony in a little chapel. Back to the hotel for a few shots and then off to the reception. Beautiful place over looking the water with piers and rocks and an old sunken wrecked shipped, all of which would have made for good photos unfortunately the weather didn’t let up even for a second, and add winds, and it was pretty freezing cold near the water, but the view was breath taking.
We went back to the hotel for a few more shots afterwards, and then we headed home and it continued to rain, until I woke up this morning. But this one shot that I have edited, is my fave shot this year, and definitely in my top 10 of all time fave shots. I have a few in this spot that i love, but here is a tease for now as I still have 2 other sessions that I need to edit as well.
