More of Nick & Dani’s Wedding

Tuesday, April 7th, 2009

I was going to add these with the ONE shot I posted of the bride below but I really want the bride to see these as she’s having a hard time with getting to their new destination and thought some pics from the wedding would help cheer her up while she waits to leave.

My Lily

Monday, April 6th, 2009

Right before the wedding I shot on Friday I had a small opportunity to shoot my favourite lil model, my muse, my Lily. This lil girl is on most of my advertisements and if she lived in the same city, i would have millions upon millions of shots of her, as it is, I only have several hundred to choose from this time, lol. Lily and her lovely family, good friend Anita and her hubby Hank and they brought the newest addition with them, lil smooshy and we met up at McMaster university where Melissa, Anita’s oldest goes to school. Pouring rain, so we didn’t have many locations to choose from, and Melissa suggested a little atrium near by and that’s where we went. We got some cute shots, but I so look forward to doing this again in the near future in better weather so we can go outdoors. I’m getting pretty tired of this horrible weather we’ve been having lately and am so done with winter, and trying so hard to patiently wait for spring, it will get here right?lol.

So here is just one of my Lily.

I managed to edit a few more…

Nick & Dani’s Wedding

Pouring rain, winds that would knock over a house, getting lost and a headache all day long, but still I had the best time and it was a wonderful wedding, full of love and joy for the bride and groom.

We drove to Niagara falls from Toronto, made a stop in Hamilton to see good ol friends and did a family shoot there, shot Anita and her crew and my lil muse Lily who is on most of my advertisements,  and even on my car magnet. Despite the rain we had a nice time and got some nice shots in the atrium and then we headed off to get to the hotel for the wedding.

The hotel had a kids waterpark in it and we were so tempted to stay the night just so we can go and play but we decided that we would make a trip with the kids, since they would enjoy it even more, in the near future.

Still raining, got to the bride’s room, where things were hectic but fun and invigorating. After getting ready and heading off to the church, slightly late, lol, they had a nice ceremony in a little chapel. Back to the hotel for a few shots and then off to the reception. Beautiful place over looking the water with piers and rocks and an old sunken wrecked shipped, all of which would have made for good photos unfortunately the weather didn’t let up even for a second, and add winds, and it was pretty freezing cold near the water, but the view was breath taking.

We went back to the hotel for a few more shots afterwards, and then we headed home and it continued to rain, until I woke up this morning. But this one shot that I have edited, is my fave shot this year, and definitely in my top 10 of all time fave shots. I have a few in this spot that i love, but here is a tease for now as I still have 2 other sessions that I need to edit as well.

I Love my angel…

Wednesday, April 1st, 2009

My sweet boy actually asked me to take this pic of him, he wanted to dress up as an angel and be a rock and roll angel star, lol. I quickly agreed and set everything up. I have so many cute shots, oh him and his lil brother who wanted to join in and wore his harley davidson jacket, but here is just one for now.
