It was such an awesome weekend. On Saturday I got together with an awesome photographer friend Bonnie, from Bonseye Photography and she came with me to see another friend (Enza) whom I haven’t seen in 20 years, since highschool.
I was swept up in memories as i was approaching her cafe, and yet we talked and I realized how much I had forgotten, as time goes, you forget the little details that we once used to pay more attention too. We sat and conversed over a coke and enjoyed hanging out with each other after all these years. Then we had even more fun by doing a little shoot. We had some great locations to work with and despite the rain we had a fabulous time. Then another old highschool friend (Laura)came and joined us as well, we talked, and laughed and had a wonderful time. We were covered in Awesome sauce as Enza likes to say. I have lots of images that I like but here are just a few.

One with her sister Julia.

and one of the 3 of us girls from highschool.

and one shot of Bonnie.

I am sooo excited, and feel like such a kid, but to me its the cake that makes the party. Maybe its an artist thing but I love ordering cakes with pizzazz and spunk and character, wether it be blue clues or a pirate ship, they are pieces of art, to be admired and then sadly eaten, lol. I seriously almost get sad when its time to cut the cake.
As my son’s 3rd birthday approaches on Sunday, we are throwing a small party for him but we went nuts on the cake, lol.
So, I just ordered a little einstein cake from this wonderful lady named Claudia from Cakerific, check her out her cakes are spectacular as you can see for yourself, http://www.cakerific.blogspot.com/ and I so can’t wait to see the finished creation. I bet it will be fabulous.
And i can’t write a post without a cake, I mean without a pic of a cake, lol, so here is one of my favourite cakes from George’s 6th birthday made by Tina Medeiros from Cakes by Design.

When on a hike with my hubby and boys, and yes I’m out of shape, my legs were killing me after and I think I developed heel spurs, ugh. Still, it was worth it, to get this one shot of my oldest George and a cute one of Nik too. It’s my new location, and I plan on taking a few clients to this spot in the future.

As I edit more from this session, I can’t help but share them, and can’t seem to wait until I’ve edited them all and then pick a few to post, so you may see many more posts with images of this family, lol. I just adore them.

Some of my recent packaging, but I’m constantly updating it.

and new cards too.

Love this, and have been meaning to post about it for a while now, but just haven’t got around to it til now. I bought this a couple of months ago from Cotton Candy http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5924896. So if you want a strap, check them out.

Was going to add this to the last post, but thought it needed a post by itself. Here is my sweet little biker angel, lol. We love this harley davidson jacket and the back of it is so cute, but this time its the front with the over sized sunglasses, lol but he is still the cutest biker dude I know, lol.

And here is one of his older brother, from the same shoot.

Our youngest Nikolaos is full of spirit and energy and although his angelic looks and cute curls may fool you, he’s quite the adventurer. He is constantly on the go and independent already and almost bosses his older brother around, but I know he looks up to him and admires him and loves him too.
Nik will be turning 3 years old in May and its a hard job to get a good shot of him, he doesn’t understand that mommy is a photographer and that he must sit still for her when she brings out the camera, lol. He will learn though, lol. So for now, this about the best shot, ok, maybe I got a couple more but I decided on using this image of him to make birthday magnets.
I’m falling a little behind as I’m processing orders and editing sessions and dealing with pain in my arm and my dear hubby sliced his finger the other day so I’m not only taking care of him and the kids but the rest of the house too, but I’ll do my best to get prints ordered and editing done as soon as possible. In closing I want to send happy and easy and quick labour vibes to Tina who is expecting tomorrow and I so can’t wait to meet and photograph their lil bambino.
Nik

You’ll be seeing alot more of this lil girl, and of course I had to make her into an angel, its a must when I shoot children. So here are 3 versions of it.

and I had to do an antique version as well.
