Beach Beauties

Saturday, March 21st, 2009

So, today has been a good day, other than a little headache a sore eye. It’s sore because my son poked me a few days ago and I thought I would pass out from the pain. You would have thought someone stabbed me in the eye with a sharp edged knife dipped in rubbing alcohol, get the idea?? Seriously though, I couldn’t even open it and forced myself to bed as I was not able to do anything else.  I had to eat a snack with my eyes closed before heading off to bed, that must have looked so funny to my dh. I’m better today thankfully, its still a bit bothersome, kinda a bit blurry but no more pain, so i’m not complaining, just praying that it heals completely soon.

Then my sweet hubby picked up a large book shelf and painted it all nice dark chocolate, almost an eggplant colour and he says he’s going to put spools on it and make it a working shelf for me. i just received a box full of black bags for my packaging and had no where to put them and the tissue and ribbons and boxes and gifts that I have for my clients, and now I have a spot!! Woo hoo, thank you Hubby, love you baby!

While my hubby did that lil project for me I found an image from last year that I love that I never edited, so I did and I LOVE it, I think it will become my next canvas. So here it is..

Canvas

Saturday, March 21st, 2009

I LOVE canvases, nothing is better than bigger, and the more canvases I buy the more i want and the bigger I want. One of these days I’ll get a really big one, came close to it the other day but I only ended up getting these two at 16×20 and 11×14. The pictures below just don’t do them justice and to see them in person as to be able to appreciate the colour and the texture and the majestical feel and look to them, then you would see why I love them so. If you aren’t convinced then you are more than welcome to come over and see for yourself.

The colours on this one are just spectacular.

Contest Winners

Monday, March 16th, 2009

Finally a beautiful day in Toronto, I couldn’t wait to get out there and shoot and met up with the perfect couple, cute and funny, usually I make my clients laugh, but these two had me laughing instead, lol. Helen was my contest winner and we had our session downtown in and around union station. We had fun and even sat and enjoyed a drink together and a hot dog too, lol. Here are a few sneak peeks.

I’m honoured to say that writer and columnist Vicky Sanderson wrote up an article on me for the star’s online blog that she writes for. I’m so thrilled and makes me blush a little even.  I’m feeling so blessed, I thank God everyday that He’s lead me down this path, I love being a photographer and I don’t think I would have been as happy doing anything else.

Please check out her blog, you’ll find all kinds of useful tips and ideas on there. http://thestar.blogs.com/onthehouse/ and here is the post to the article she wrote about MPH Photography
